Caramoan and Legaspi

Caramoan and Legaspi are both located in the southern part of Luzon. It is about 416 kms from Manila airport to Bicol or about estimated travel time of 8 hours but less than 2 hours by plane.

In Legaspi, you would have an opportunity to visit nice places and buy stuff that are made locally or by the natives. Handicraft is one of the means of income of the Bicolanos (how natives called). Relax and enjoy the white and fine sand beaches and the serenity. Enjoy the cool weather, the warm people and spicy foods cooked with coconut oil which Bicolanos are known for.

Baguio City of the Philippines

Baguio City is the summer capital of the Philippines. The city is about 206 kms away from Manila. It can be reach by land or by plane. By land, it would take like 6-8 hours depends on traffic situation in Manila. However, travelling by plane is more convenient, may take like less than 1 hour flight.

Baguio City is considered a tourist spot destination.Baguio City is located in the province of Benguet in northern Luzon of the  Philippines. Natives speak in Ilocano dialect. This city is called summer capital of the Philippines because of its mild climate  due to elevation.  Average temperature ranges from 59-75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tourist will enjoy the mild climate and the nature as well.  Cost of living is average, condominium rental ranges from Php 1500-5000/day depends on one's lifestyle.

Baguio City is a good retirement place too for foreigners who wants mild climate and loves nature.

Palace in the Sky @ Tagaytay

I am living in the Calabarzon area. Calabarzon comprise of 4 provinces namely:  Cavite, Laguna , Batangas and Quezon. I live here in Calamba seated close to the Mt. Makiling. Here in Laguna, there is a developing area like Makati. Eton City is the future South of Makati. Tagaytay is part of Province of Cavite.

If you want an all time cool place in the south, the best place to go is Tagaytay City. It is a tourist destination  because of the climate at that area. Apart being tourist spot, going to that area is like passing part of California, USA  because of the  American style houses, huge and clean road .  At that area, you will find the highest elevation of land where you can see Manila. You have to wear jacket or comforter whenever you visit that area during holiday season. Going down the Palace you will immediate pass a golf range call Tagaytay Higlands.  Here are some photos taken when my kids and I went to enjoy the clean air at view of nearby cities.

Enjoy the cool breeze of air here at Calamba, Laguna Philippines. Normally, cool weather starts between September to October and will last until March. If  someone out there is planning to visit Philippines, the best season to come here is towards the holiday season. But mind you, you must book earlier because a lot of of people would be visiting Philippines to spend Christmas holiday with their love ones. Enjoy the photos taken at Plantation Bay @ Cebu. The only place that has several pools and close to the beach. Though , it maybe expensive to others, but its worth the cost. Its good at at the evening when you enjoy various activities other than swimming.

Hot Spring at Laguna

After a busy week, one must enjoy the week-ends to the pool or spa. I have visited this place once when my BF was here. We both enjoyed the beauty of the place and took the chance to relax for an hour for a fee of Php 500 day tour.  The place is located in Bay Laguna.  Please take time to see the photos.
